According to season plan, I was not racing the World Cup in Czech Republic today. Instead I watched it live on freecaster.com. It was with mixed feelings, and I felt the eager to hit the trails with the other girls, since the course looked a lot of fun. Thursday I’ll be heading off to Italy to do the world cup on saturday in Val di Sole. The race energy I spared today, will surely be rolling in Italy :)

Racing african style

Monday, April 25th, 2011

I ended up 13th in the race from a 26th start position. I’m satisfied with my performance, still chasing that podium spot or at least breaking the top 10 limit…!

It’s only few hours post-race, so this post will be a mixture of tiredness and emotions..

I finished at 27th spot today, which would have been so much better, if it wasn’t for a stupid mistake and a lot of misfortune. (more…)

Copenhagen – Zürich – München – Val di Sole – München – Zürich – Copenhagen

Danish – German – English – Swedish – English – German – Genglish

Soon I can’t remember my name, what language I speak or where I am.

Okay, right now I’m sitting in the garden of my hotel in München (or so I think – the street in front of the hotel could be red light district or Istedgade in Copenhagen). Watching an Indian guy eating his noodles and a chinese woman eating her rice. So in fact this place could be anywhere.

This weekend I went to race the World Cup in Italy and that was pretty cool. (more…)
