The World Cup in Val di Sole rounded up the Series with a tough race!
According to season plan, I was not racing the World Cup in Czech Republic today. Instead I watched it live on freecaster.com. It was with mixed feelings, and I felt the eager to hit the trails with the other girls, since the course looked a lot of fun. Thursday I’ll be heading off to Italy to do the world cup on saturday in Val di Sole. The race energy I spared today, will surely be rolling in Italy
Yes! Back to business! Well recovered after last week, I rode another phenomenal race and ended up on the world cup podium for the second time this season!
I’m glad, that I’m now taking a summer holiday break off the bike, that’ll give me some time to celebrate the results so far and last but not least to really understand it all

As easy and thrilling last weekend in Italy was, just as hard and complicated this weekend in Canada was. The preparations weren’t the best, but everything taken into account, the race went OK
Then it happened! My first World Cup podium! 2nd place in Dalby Forest UK

I don’t know why, but world cup races are just a little more thrilling, exciting, fun and tough than other races, and the first round of the WorldCup in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, was no exception.
I ended up 13th in the race from a 26th start position. I’m satisfied with my performance, still chasing that podium spot or at least breaking the top 10 limit…!
It’s only few hours post-race, so this post will be a mixture of tiredness and emotions..
I finished at 27th spot today, which would have been so much better, if it wasn’t for a stupid mistake and a lot of misfortune. (more…)
Copenhagen – Zürich – München – Val di Sole – München – Zürich – Copenhagen
Danish – German – English – Swedish – English – German – Genglish
Soon I can’t remember my name, what language I speak or where I am.
Okay, right now I’m sitting in the garden of my hotel in München (or so I think – the street in front of the hotel could be red light district or Istedgade in Copenhagen). Watching an Indian guy eating his noodles and a chinese woman eating her rice. So in fact this place could be anywhere.
This weekend I went to race the World Cup in Italy and that was pretty cool. (more…)
